The farm, which covered 3000 acres, is now abandoned The grasses imported for the cattle have spread. There were acres and acres of forage the horses relished. The pasture are now gone, destroyed when the farm was bandoned by citrus growers. 3000 acres of diseased trees were bull dozed. The once rich pastures succembed to invaison by Brazilian Pepper and deadly Lantana Sage which took the lives of at least three horses within a year. |
