In February, 2000, a local fund raising drive provided enough money to buy a Stroberg Porta corral for the horses. The corral has been purchased but has not yet been delivered as we are waiting for the Government of the Bahamas to waive the import duty which would nearly double to cost of the corral. The corral will be used to isolate injured or at risk horses, particularly around foaling time. Marsh Harbour Shipping co., Ltd., has generously offered to provide shipping for the corral over to Abaco from its delivery point in West Palm Beach, FL.
