| The Abaco Wild Horse Fund recently bought a 1982 Datsun King Cab pick up truck, complete with an aluminum topper with lock boxes and a plastic bed liner. The truck has just over 100,000 miles on it and cost $1600. The engine has a number of new parts, and we're about to install a new clutch slave cylinder. However it runs well and has already proven its usefulness with transporting farm dogs for our long awaited farm dog spay/neuter program. |

Dubbed the "Oatsmobile," the truck will enable us to carry vets and other visitors to the farm, will always be loaded with med supplies and equipment (more than could be carried on the motorcycle) and is a sign of our steady growth and progress. The truck is not yet fully paid for, so donations are still very necessary to keep us on the road. |
